As a system administrator, Marc is primarily focused on support for the BlueGene systems and network administration and has a broad range of technical responsibilities including: operational support for Met Éireann, user support, administration of the Dublin office core systems and the global security of ICHEC's systems.

Marc is a graduate of Computer Systems and Databases at the Belfort University Institute of Technology. He then spent a number of years working in network security for Symantec and Orange France, where his duties included designing security solutions, preventing and resolving network and securtiy crisis, managing Orange's GSM network suveilliance servers. He also brings extensive experience in LAN and WAN networks, Unix/Linux systems and some software development to the ICHEC team.
