nVidia CUDA compiler and SDK

CUDA is NVIDIA’s parallel computing architecture that enables dramatic increases in computing performance by harnessing the power of the GPU (graphics processing unit).


The CUDA compiler and SDK are freely available under the terms of a specific nVidia license. In addition, some parts of the provided tolls are provided under the GNU General Public License.



Additional Notes

Those CUDA compilers and SDK are meant to allow GPGPU computing in the GPU enabled partition of the machine. If you want to get access to this facility, please open a helpdesk call.

Module cuda/sdk is the example folder and part of the SDK for CUDA 5.0. The CUDA 5.5 SDK was deployed here: /ichec/packages/cuda/5.5/cuda-5.5-sdk.
