ICHEC has organised a series of courses on High Performance Computing (HPC), Message Passing Interface (MPI) and Open Multi-Processing (OpenMP). Please contact Simon Wong (e-mail simon.wong@ichec.ie) to register for this event. As the number of spaces is limited, allocations will be done on a first-come, first-served basis. Details of the courses are as follows:

29th & 30th July (Tuesday & Wednesday) - Day 2 & 3
9.30am - 5.00pm: Introduction to MPI ... [ course slides ]
31st July (Thursday) - Day 4
9.30am - 5.00pm: Introduction to OpenMP ... [ course slides ]
The Introduction to HPC course only requires basic programming skills. The Introduction to MPI/OpenMP courses require elementary to intermediate programming skills in either C, C++ or Fortran and prior experience of code development in a UNIX/Linux environment would be an advantage.
