General Purpose Graphics Processing Units (GPGPUs) are a promising development in the field of high-performance computing and numerical simulation, offering large-scale performance on low-cost hardware.
As part of a recently announced partnership, ICHEC will work with SGI in providing consultancy services in GPU computing for both industry and academia.
