The Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe (PRACE) project, has announced that access to prototype systems is now available. The systems are prototypes for future petascale HPC systems to be installed in Europe.

ICHEC is the representative body for Ireland within PRACE and our staff will be glad to help with the preparation of applications. During this prototype phase only limited technical support is available from the centres hosting the systems. However ICHEC will endeavour to provide support to ICHEC users on these systems should they be granted access. Researchers interested in making an application should feel free to contact us.
