ICHEC provide support to its users in four primary ways:
ICHEC has produced a collection of online documentation covering many aspects of its HPC systems. To compliment Stokes & Stoney specific documentation we also provide an FAQ covering simple isses that come up regularly and a set of more detailed standalone online tutorials that cover specific subjects in more depth.
ICHEC handles normal day to day queries and support requests via an online helpdesk. Anyone who has completed the user account application procedure can login and submit a query. Queries are then assigned to members of ICHEC's systems, scientific and management staff dependent on the nature of the query.
ICHEC provideis direct consortium support to a number of projects. This support takes the form of a member of the ICHEC scientific staff committing a portion of their time to that individual project for a given period. To learn more about this process and see on going activities click here.
ICHEC participates in a range of activities to educate its users as well as to promote HPC and computational science. Please visit the Education & Training section for information of all our activities, which includes a number of training courses covering selected topics of HPC that are delivered on-site at Irish host institutions or in the HPC Hub.
