Update: ICHEC is pleased to hold a brief 1-2 hour workshop on the DECI application process on January 7th at 10:00 at its Dublin office . If you would like to attend please contact ICHEC in advance.

A call for proposals for the DEISA Extreme Computing Initiative (DECI) has just been announced and will remain open until February 16, 2010. Selected projects will get access from Sept. 2010 to April 2011, with some testing time from July 2010.

Unlike the recent PRACE prototype calls DECI is aimed at full production runs rather than solely development and scaling.

ICHEC staff will be happy to engage with ICHEC's user community in the preparation of applications, and hopes to hold a brief workshop in early January on the topic. If you are interested in attending please contact Dr. Michael Browne.
