We are pleased to announce that NVIDIA has designated ICHEC as an official CUDA Research Center, one of only seven in the world, in recognition of the GPGPU research activities we are conducting. The CUDA Research Center program is designed to identify institutions that are doing "world-changing research by leveraging CUDA and NVIDIA GPUs".

In its letter to Gilles Civario, David Luebke (Ph.D. NVIDIA Distinguished Inventor Director of Research NVIDIA Corporation) explained that ICHEC had been selected as a CUDA Research Center based on the vision, quality, and impact of the research leveraging CUDA technology carried out in the Centre. He continued by stating that "We (NVIDIA) are pleased to be a partner in the outstanding research taking place at ICHEC under your direction, and look forward to future research activities this coming year."
