Jean-Christophe Desplat, ICHEC’s Interim Director, has been appointed as Adjunct Professor in the School of Physics, at NUI Galway. The appointment was described by NUI Galway President Professor James J. Browne as being in recognition of Jean-Christophe’s “vast experience in high-performance computing”.

Prof. Desplat has been also appointed Honorary Professor of Computational Science at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (DIAS) in 2008.
