ICHEC has built up a strong record of delivering supercomputing related material and 3D scientific content at various events. These include the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition and Culture Night where demonstrations related to climate and weather have been presented.

Culture Night 2012

A 2012 Culture Night event was held in the Dunsink Observatory in association with the Dublin Institute of Advanced Studies. Over 800 adults and children watched 3D demos of weather prediction using the HARMONIE model (the same model used by Met √Čireann to forecast the weather daily).
