While completing his masters he worked on implementing an efficient solver on a GPU for common elliptic partial differential equations seen in atmospheric modelling and Numerical Weather Prediction models. This built on Aarons previous Masters and undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Queens University Belfast, where he developed firm understandings in areas of applied mathematics and statistics, as well as completing a dissertation on "Mathematics of the Bond Market" in 2014.

Prior to joining ICHEC in October 2018, Aaron has worked in the financial services industry where he spent one year in a consultancy role in Dublin, Ireland and one year in Singapore, implementing bespoke Trading Surveillance Software.
