Pablo joined ICHEC in September 2022. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2021 with an integrated masters MPhys degree in Mathematical Physics. In his masters project titled ‘New Fundamental Scalar Particles as Hadron Colliders’ he ran computer simulations of subatomic particle collisions at the Future Circular Collider (FFC) to study particle interactions within the framework of a proposed new theory. His theory, known as xSM, introduces a new fundamental scaler particle to the current Standard Model of particle physics.

Pablo is an amateur electronic music producer and DJ. But unless he is at work or making music, you will rarely catch him sitting down! As a lover of nature with a strong interest in mycology, he spends a lot of time outdoors and exploring the Irish countryside and foraging and identifying wild mushrooms. He is also passionate about climbing and weight training and loves a good pint of Guinness..
