Intel Developers Forum sees launch of Parallelism Pearls Volume 2 with ICHEC chapter

The second volume of High Performance Parallelism Pearls, by James Reinders and Jim Jeffers of Intel, was launched this month at the Intel Developer Forum 2015, San Francisco, USA. Volume one has proven to be a valuable resource to HPC developers and users across the board and in particular for those involved in novel architectures. Following on from contributions from ICHEC staff to volume one, ICHEC is proud to be involved once again in the second volume. ICHEC Computational Scientist Dr. Enda O’Brien, as part of the Intel Parallel Computing Centre collaboration between ICHEC and Intel, has authored a chapter in the current volume on “Coarse-Grained OpenMPI for Scalable Hybrid Parallelism”.

High Performance Parallelism Pearls Volume Two by James Reinders and Jim Jeffers, published by Morgan Kaufmann, is available to buy online and in stores now.
