Tokey Tahmid is specializes in performance engineering in HPC and AI. He completed his master's degree in computer science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He worked in the performance analysis group at the Innovative Computing Laboratory before joining ICHEC, where he developed Performance API (PAPI) components for specialized AI architectures such as Intel Habana Gaudi and maintained traditional CPU and GPU components, including CUDA, ROCm, and ROCprofiler-SDK. His current work focuses primarily on performance engineering projects for Ireland’s new supercomputer, CASPIr and projects related to AI Factory Antenna in Ireland.
