Copernicus Hackathon Ireland Raises Awareness of Programme that puts Europe at the forefront of Earth Observation The Copernicus data-centric programme is supported by the European Space Agency and the European Commission, and will provide earth observation, modelling and in situ data about our environment on an operational basis into the future. ICHEC launches Ireland’s first Copernicus Hackathon The Irish Centre for High End Computing (ICHEC) has today announced Ireland’s first Copernicus Hackathon, aimed at promoting the Earth Observation (EO) services sector across the country. The event will take place in NUI Galway from May 10th to May 12th 2019.
